• SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES: Alkebu-lan Village is a state certified Supplemental
   Educational Services provider under No Child Left Behind. Our tutorial program for eligible children is
   designed to assist the  students with academic success by first stimulating a students desire to learn
   and keep learning. We help students  overcome frustrations associated with school performance, while
   building reading, writing and math skills  confidence and motivation.

 • YOUTH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (Y.A.P.): Youth prevention program for ages: 7-17 funded by Wayne
   County. This program provides at risk youth with a second chance. Services provided by this program
   include: tutorial,substance abuse, conflict resolution, anger management, and life skills. Upon completion of
   this 12 week program youth are given the opportunity to have an offense deleted from their permanent
   program.
